Our apartment (# 11) provided us a wonderful base in Granada. Checkin was easy with the information we were given by email. And we were upgraded to an executive suite with a big shower and spacious living room/kitchen. 😊 Also the apartment has little touches like carved woodwork near the ceilings, inlaid work around the bed frame and beautiful views of the Alhambra. Muralla Ziri is in the lower Albayzín and close to Plaza Nueva—great for getting anywhere in this amazing city. The apartments are quiet, safe and clean. The owners have given information about good places to eat nearby, which we took advantage of. So helpful! And it’s near the San Augustin Market—a great place to browse and buy everything you need for a great meal prepared with all the kitchen equipment you’d need at the apartment. The receptionist (available till 1 pm daily) is very kind and helpful. And we were allowed a late checkout and luggage storage on our last day. This was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in Spain.

We stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. The apartment was clean and well equiped. Staff was very helpful and provided us with tips. We stayed at the ground floor apartment, as we were basically there for sleeping only. If you want to relax at the place, I recommend to take a studio in the upper floors.

Beware: The building next door is under construction. It probably won't be done until Late 2019. Hammers, drills, voices, music will wake you up at 8am. The two buildings share a common wall. Also, I had to pay additional Euros (not mentioned on Booking.com) to use all three beds in a 3 bedroom apartment. I paid 940 Euros only to find out that if we used all three beds, we would have to pay additional Euros in cash to use all three beds. One king, one queen and one twin, in a closet-size room. My 13 and 16-year-old children were supposed to share a bed after the high fee I already paid? Ridiculous. The first-floor apartment is next to the heavy front door that slams with a bang every time you go in and out. The owner sent me the wrong code for the front door and was very rude when I called saying I couldn't get in the first day. My advice, stay somewhere else.
