Hotel Mari Carmen

I see a spectacular hotel in quality / price. Spacious and good rooms. Service attentive and well located. Good cafeteria

Central hotel within easy walk of the cathedral etc. Restaurant at the side is very good value and nice food. Rooms are spacious and en-suites are modern with large shower cubicles. The strange thing was the lack of milk in the room- they provide a kettle, teas, coffee, sugar & sweetener but just give you 2 very small milk portions for when you arrive. Asked at reception on evening 1 for extra milk but he said he didn’t have any. On day 2 the coffee and tea were replenished but this time no milk! Asked at reception when we hot back in the afternoon and the guy said he would have to ask his boss who he proceeded to ring. More milk was granted and the guy said he would bring them to the room. 10 minutes later he arrived with just 2 of the small portions- unbelievable! We went across to Aldi and bought a fresh litre but had trouble keeping it cold as no fridge in the room. The milk issue was not major but very annoying as can’t understand the thinking!

No tiene nevera en la habitación pero si tienes medicamentos que precisan frío, puedes dejarlos en recepción. Personal muy amable y calidad precio muy aceptable. El WiFi no llega correctamente a la habitación, pero es la única pega. If you are travelling with people with reduced mobility, this hotel is ideal. The bathroom is equipped with a chair and grab rails, which makes hygiene very easy. There is no fridge in the room but if you have medicines that need to be kept cold, you can leave them at reception. Very friendly staff and very acceptable value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach the room properly, but that's the only downside. If you are travelling with disabled guests, this hotel is ideal. The bathroom is equipped with a chair and grab bars, which facilitates hygiene.
