BEST WESTERN HOTEL SALOBRENA

My family and I stayed at this hotel and it was a real disappointment. The images they offer of the hotel do not correspond to reality. I stayed on the 0th floor, in an area outside that looked very old and quite neglected. I specifically booked a room with a hot tub and, upon arrival, saw that the room had no hot tub. When I claimed, I was told that they did not have such rooms, even though that was precisely the one I had booked. They didn't give me any solutions. The general condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The common areas are old and poorly maintained: broken floors, damaged walls, ants and an old elevator for so many guests. On the outside, the wooden railings were damaged and some were in a rather poor state of preservation. As soon as you got off the elevator you could feel a tremendous smell of damp. The room smelled of pipes and damp. The bathroom was dirty: hairs in the shower, dirty sink and toilet and a shower that lost water. As a result, the bathroom floor laminate was lifted and deteriorated by water. The floor of the room also had sand and food scraps. The fridge didn't cool. The hallways were also not in good condition: there were humidities and a broken ceiling through which dirty water fell. There were towels and buckets on the floor to collect the water, which were never changed and made the smell unbearable, giving an image of leaving and lack of maintenance. The buffet was another disappointment: little variety and, besides, I found dirty cutlery, cups with lipstick stains and dirty glasses. The outside area is not comfortable either. There is very little space for the hammocks and they are all too close together, making it practically impossible to find a free one and enjoy the pool area in comfort. In short, between the room that did not correspond to what was booked, the lack of cleanliness, bad smells, humidity, deteriorating facilities and the poor quality of the buffet, I consider that the experience was far below what was expected. I would not repeat and certainly would not recommend this hotel.

Few lounge chairs and they are always reserved. There is a lack of umbrellas. Comfortable beds. The buffet is good.

It is noticeable that the hotel needs some repairs and a coat of paint, which I suppose they are doing little by little, but otherwise it is wonderful; I recommend it.
