TRYP Guadalajara

We were a large group to spend several days in this hotel and since we arrived on February 15 the lady reception in addition to her speed and sympathy proved to be a great professional; to highlight also the education ,sympathy and efficiency of all the staff of the dining room, as well as serving us a great meal ; great the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas.

For a 4* hotel leaves much to be desired. For requesting a spa service, I was verbally assaulted by the bar boss and the hotel manager. They called the police to the hotel and as a client I became an impostor, I was humiliated and almost attacked by 2 Spanish police officers. I settled quickly, canceled the reservation and demanded my money back. This will not come back and I do not recommend at all. I have a training in hospitality, reception of hotels of 4 and 5 * and one thing I have always learned a golden rule: We are ladies and gentlemen’s serving ladies and gentlemen’s, which does not apply to these bosses of Bar and Management.

The hotel is clean, facilities right, fast WiFi. However, some outdoor areas seem abandoned and detract from the view. Breakfast is really infamous, totally unsuitable for a 4 star hotel: - Orange juice based on water with powders and lots of sugar. - Low quality sausages and cheeses. - Excess industrial pastries with excess sugar. Really infamous coffee powder. The first meal of the day is disappointing. Being the hotel "in the middle of nowhere" is very cute the option not to hire breakfast and take it outside.
