PARADOR

An unforgettable stay in the wonderful suite at the Parador. Routes, landscapes, tranquility… Dreamy terrace with magical views. Very good restaurant: all the dishes, including the desserts. Breakfasts could be improved a bit in the sweet section and in some other aspects: serving milk more quickly… Very good at the front desk and a 10 for Sergio in the restaurant. Young staff should show more willingness and efficiency. All in all, the Parador's exceptional location stands out, a spectacular enclave. Already dreaming of returning.

I am so disappointed. The hotel is fine, the view is amazing but the staff could care less if we are here or not. I asked for a glass of ice at the bar and we were the only the people standing there, she didn’t even knowledge me (Yes, I asked in Spanish) 15 minutes later I gave up. She wouldn’t even make eye contact or say “I be with you soon” ….. The dinner staff forgot to put one of our plates in. My husband ate first so he’s won’t be cold and I ate 25 mins later when mine finally came out. My complimentary drink for their mistake was still charged plus a mandatory 10% tip on everything. they made no effort to be polite or work with us :( The maintenance guy was so nice, we laughed and talked with him but I don’t understand why the bar tender lady was so rude ??? She made zero effort to say hello or help us and the dinner staff wasn’t any better. I’m blown away, I get we are American but we speak Spanish so there was no excuse for the rudeness. We were so looking forward to being here but ended up having dinner and spending our money outside the hotel. We should have read the reviews more carefully before booking here.

The location, for those of us who hike, is unbeatable. The renovation of the hotel rooms has been very appropriate in terms of decor and comfort; however, who thought it was a good idea to renovate the rooms and NOT install air conditioning? We suffered from terrible heat, even with the window open. Regarding the staff, the level of attention from Sabrina at the reception was unbeatable; she was attentive, kind, polite, with a smile, efficient, and solution-oriented.
