Cala Tarida

The hotel was well run, staff very good and facilities slightly better than expected for the 3 star rating. Food was nice and we didn’t struggle to get something we all liked. Two pools, didn’t struggle to get a sunbed at either but we preferred the smaller shallow pool to sit at as more peaceful, to swim you need to use the larger pool. The location in Cal’s Tarida is quiet, great beach and cove with very good bar/restaurant Can Yucas we sat at some evenings with stunning views and very friendly staff. We did hire a car for a couple of days to explore the island but the bus service which stops right outside the hotel was great into San Antonio and only 30mins into the town. The standard rooms are small based on our previous experience, we also had a ground floor superior room which was worth the extra for the space and outside sunbeds. There are not many rooms with a sea view for a hotel so close to the sea in part due to tree cover and general configuration but if you get a 3rd floor room that may have better views. The hotel could use more general bar seating area but that’s a minor observation as overall this hotel gets it right.

We stay here 16 days, have been here now 4 days, great hotel, lovely people, great food, nice room, clean. Nice and quiet by the pool with fine music.
