Playa Bella

We first stayed at Playa Bella in 2025 and couldn't fault it. We travelled as a family of four with our adult daughter and teenage daughter. As there were no two-bedroom apartments available, we booked two studios— one for our daughters and one for us. Both studios overlooked the bay, and we were so impressed with the beautiful views, excellent food, friendly staff, and spotless cleanliness that we decided to return this year. This time, there were just three of us, so we booked a one-bedroom apartment and were really looking forward to relaxing on the balcony overlooking the bay. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to be allocated an apartment at the back of the hotel, overlooking the street and the 24-hour supermarket instead. The location of the apartment definitely affected our enjoyment of the holiday. We didn't feel comfortable sitting out on the balcony during the day or in the evening, which was a real shame as this was something we had been looking forward to. That said, I cannot fault the staff or the food. We ate in both restaurants several times during our stay and, as always, the service and quality were excellent. We would happily return to Playa Bella for a third visit, but we would very much hope to be allocated a room or apartment overlooking the bay, as this made such a difference to our overall experience.

Just back from a week stay at Playa Bella Apartments. Throughly enjoyed our stay, arrived early for check in, however was able to store our luggage in the secure room, and go back at 3pm. We choose to go for a bite to eat at the optimist bar above the pool area, was nice for a quick bite to eat. We went back at 3pm for our keys for the apartment and was very pleased when we arrived, we were on the ground floor facing the pool, room 13 at the stairs up to the Optimist bar, not the best view however did give a bit extra privacy, and peace of mind as our 15 month old likes to roam and balconies high up could cause extra stress, having said that all the balconies were walled. When we looked to the right, there was a nice view of the palm trees in the sun. The apartment itself was very spacious, clean and well looked after, air con was brilliant, can adjust temp in bedroom but not living area. Overhead fans in each area (bedroom/living room) was great as well. We had emailed Playa Bella prior to arriving to ask for a cot for our room, and that was added for our arrival with no bother (thanks to Daniel for this!!) Two restaurants onsite were brilliant, great choice of food, different at each one and very reasonably priced. Evening entertainment each night as well. All staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Yes there is a derelict building at the side of the apartments, it is far enough away, no need to worry about this, no hassle the full time we were there, didn’t even notice anyone there. The water taxis are great as well, over to San Antonio, every 30 mins, last one at 10pm, €5 per person per trip, great on a warm day to cool down!

Clean rooms with all good utilities to hand. The kids loved the splash pool. We didn't have to queue for sunbeds there were plenty available. Nice restaurant with lovely meals and the sangria was delicious 😋 Close to the water taxis so we could go over to San Antonio. We didn't want to come home, highly recommended for families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
