My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful week at this hotel last week. I can confirm from other reviews that the cleanliness, food, and staff are 5*. Our apartment was clean with two balconies and a decent bathroom. Food for our all inclusive was always looking fresh, with plenty of variety. The fish at lunch and dinner were for me particularly good and the perfectly cooked omelettes for breakfast. We aren’t massive drinkers but found the selection good with G&T’s probably the best for the quantity of alcohol poured. Entertainment was also good with a couple of very good singers on a couple of evenings. Special mention to the animation team. And Alejandro Pardo who worked hard at getting people involved but weren’t pushy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. 5* for 3* prices.

I booked these apartments primarily because of their 4.5-star TripAdvisor rating. The fact that they were only a 3-star property wasn't particularly important to me; it was the guest reviews that influenced my decision. Having now stayed here, I'm genuinely puzzled as to how the accommodation has achieved such a high rating. In my opinion, the apartments do not warrant the score they currently hold, which does make me question how representative some of the reviews are. My expectations were reasonable, and this review is simply an honest account of our experience. We booked a one-bedroom apartment for our family. The children slept in the bedroom, while my husband and I used the sofa bed. This arrangement worked well enough, although the sofa bed wasn't particularly comfortable. Upon arrival, we discovered that the duvet was covered in red stains. Whether it was blood, wine, or something else, I couldn't say. Reception dealt with the issue quickly and replaced it, but it should never have been provided to guests in that condition in the first place. The apartment itself was acceptable, although it felt quite tired and in need of some updating. We stayed for four nights, from Sunday to Thursday, and by Tuesday the room still hadn't been serviced. We contacted reception because we had run out of clean towels and toilet roll, and these were delivered promptly. Unfortunately, by Wednesday we had an ant infestation in the apartment. We reported it to reception and cleaners were sent quickly to deal with the issue. However, I can't help feeling that if the room had been serviced properly during our stay, this may not have happened. When the ants appeared, it was late in the evening and housekeeping wasn't immediately available, so we cleaned the floor ourselves as best we could. While doing so, we moved some furniture and looked under the bed and bedside cabinets. The amount of dirt, dust, hair and general grime we found was quite shocking and made it clear that thorough deep cleaning is not carried out regularly. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the food. I found it repetitive, bland and often cold. That said, my husband and children did enjoy the breakfasts, so opinions clearly differed within our family. By the final night, however, we all decided to eat out as we wanted to enjoy a good meal together. The pool area is one of the property's strongest points. Staff work hard every morning cleaning the pools and washing down the surrounding areas, which keeps everything looking tidy. The downside is that this sometimes means access to the pool is limited until around 10am, which felt a little late. On the positive side, there were always plenty of sun loungers available and the pools were never overcrowded, which the children loved. Overall, this is an honest review. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool facilities were very good. However, the cleanliness of the rooms fell well below expectations and the food was disappointing. For those reasons, unfortunately, I would not return and would not recommend this accommodation
