We just came back from a fantastic 9 days in Can Salia. A family resort in Cala de Bou near San Antonio We stayed with our 3 three teens. And it was fantastic for all of us. Coming in we thought it was somewhat expensive but now having seen it we understand. The level of the appartments, the services and the food is really good. What really stood out was the tastefulness of the interior design and the architecture. When we first came into our suite we were so happy, with the way it looked the small but cute furniture and interior. We loved it. There is a petite kitchen where you can cool some small meals, we only had some tapas which we bought in the nearby supermarkrt. You can enjoy that sitting on a high table.
We had diner twice at the rooftop bar and shared some nice dishes: like calemares, burgers, gyoza, taco’s, guacamole etc etc (one tip for management: wine from plastic glasses please don’t). Beyond this we had a great time in and around the pool. Always a spot available and great service from very nice people when you wanted an ice-cream or some snacks. We loved the beautiful lawns… at one point we had an epic football match with some other guests. There is a gym which we used and some yoga sessions which we didnt use.
In the neighberhood of the hotel there are some fine restaurants and bars and at 10 minute walk there is a small beach Port the Torrent (plenty of other and better beaches in the area). The breakfast in the hotel we thought a bit too expensive so we went to Macademia (tip!). Directly next to the hotel is a car rental for your trips around the island, very handy.
