Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort

Very beautiful hotel in a pleasant location. Downside for the rooms a bit small for the price, superior room without a view. The Elia restaurant is excellent, service very good and the food was excellent, but there too a small downside, we had an in house credit to spend within the hotel, I had reserved a table several weeks in advance and upon arrival we were told that the restaurant was full and that we had to wait to get a table, a shame for the image of the place, fortunately the hostess made up for it by offering us a drink at the bar. We enjoyed the pool, although we found ourselves next to a group of Russians who were very disrespectful and noisy, but we were moved without any hassle. The breakfast buffet was perfect. We were able to get into Pacha included in our price. At checkout, we were charged 70 euros for service and tax, I found that excessive. Not sure that we will return to stay at this establishment.

Great location, Great view. Most people who work there very nice and friendly. Restaurantservice locks the service you should expect from a 5 star. Waiters are not very sharp in sering you want to order; we ordered a bananasmoothie and after waiting pretty long we had to ask were it was; can happen but not if the answer is ‘we’re out of bananas…’. Could have told us yourself right? Now we are really not nitpickers, but other times things went wrong too and we expressed our irtitation; have to say that the restsurantmanager solved this in a Charing way so middels for her. Bit with the ridiculous high prices for food and drinks, you should get classy service in the first place. Talking about prices; 10,- for a coke, 18,- (minimum) for a glass of white whine which is poored as half a glass…it’s not classy. (On the closingparty i paid 43,- for 1 coke and whine… The Good 5stars hotels cost less and their softdrinks in the minibar are for free; that’s five star… The rooms; clean and nice, but for the price (we had two suits, not even normal ruims) very small. Loved the cleaningladies so loved to tip them (as with the lugfagecarriers). The swimmingpool is more a showpool; looks great but not deeper than a meter. Nice to see they have dj’s all day life at the pool as well at the breakfast; it adds a bit to a relaxed party-atmosphere. There’s also a magician Sean at the breakfast; that sounds cheesy but was in fact really entertaining and great fun. Nice to see besides many ladies with fake lips and breasts, it is visited by natural people too; now I know this is matter of taste, but the comparidon is there: for me Pacha is too much about pretending to be upperclass and to less about really delevering the quality that you expect for the price. Nowadays kids are allowed but I would suggest to not take them to a hotel like this; just not enough to do for them. Would I go back here? No, allthough I’m gratefull to life that i could stay for 4 nights, I am convinced that there are way better deals for this money, regarding rooms, restaurant service, drinks and food.

I stayed here for four nights and unfortunately had a very poor experience, especially considering the price. On the first night when I arrived, there was no hot water in my room. I contacted the manager and staff came up numerous times to try to resolve the issue, but it still wasn’t fixed. This was obviously not what I expected when paying this much for a hotel. Another major issue is my €500 deposit. I checked out on the 10th of August and, as of 2nd September, I still have not received my deposit back. I have contacted the hotel about it and I’m still waiting for my money to be returned. There is also a shooting range right beside the hotel, which added to the overall experience and is something I think guests should be aware of. Overall, I found the level of service very disappointing for the price. Between arriving to no hot water and still waiting weeks later for my €500 deposit to be returned, I definitely expected much better.
