I stayed in the hotel with my husband and 20 year old daughters for a week in July 2019. The hotel was perfect for lounging on sunbeds around the pool surrounded by peaceful and idyllic countryside in the hills above Ibiza Old Town. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Although taxis are available, I would highy recommend hiring a car due to its remoteness. The only disappointment was the lunch and dinner menu which was very limited. Drinks were available throughout the day through an honour system. Overall, we loved our stay and felt very relaxed and welcome.

Stayed one week at this superb place. Relaxing atmosphere, away from the busy spots, but centrally enough to take a taxi and be within 25 minutes in the Old Ibiza or in 10 minutes at Eivissa. Small team of support staff, very friendly. Not the large scale standard approach. You must appreciate this, otherwise go to a bigger hotel ( chain ), we liked it! thx Carmen and Lucie!

I have just returned from our stay at this hotel. When we arrived we were blown away by how beautiful it was, the beautiful setting and pool. It was lovely and quiet and we were so excited to be there and so relieved that it looked like the photos online. Unfortunately, we were greeted by unfriendly front of staff woman who did not make us feel welcome, and that feeling remained throughout our stay. My friend that I travelled with was disappointed that we had to find staff to ask for things, and this could take time. They weren't proactive at asking us what we might like or need. For instance on the first day this female member of staff and another member of staff saw us settle by the pool but never dressed the beach beds for us, or provide towels. We were then surprised to see the next day when there seemed to be more guests around, that these lovely beds could be draped in sheets for shade - as you see in the pictures online. On another occasion we asked for drinks to come to us by the pool. She brought drinks out on a tray but then made us move where we were sitting to get the drinks ourselves because she wanted to deal with new guests who had arrived to check in. I noticed that these guests were also standing around waiting to be served, looking a little surprised by the lack of staff as we were. I walked past them a few times whilst trying to find the woman to get drinks and noticed how long they had been waiting. There is a bell provided to press and I felt uncomfortable using it (although I did use it occasionally) and staff seem to pay little interest in the bell being rung. The hotel is a little out of the way, and can take a little while to get to the old town, which is fine except ordering a taxi can be tricky, because of the language barrier and mostly when we ordered a taxi it often meant a 45 minute wait, and we weren't always sure if it was coming. On a few occasions we asked to staff to order the taxi and they too seemed surprised that our taxis never seemed to arrive until the second or third phone-call. On the Monday the staff have a holiday. We weren't aware of this, which might be our mistake - perhaps we didn't read this in the communications. We missed breakfast, the kitchens and bar were closed and we couldn't find any staff. The staff left a taxi number and an emergency number on the front desk, which we had to use because we were struggling to communicate with the taxi service. My friend was very thirsty in the heat and we hadn't noticed the mini bar in a separate room adjacent to our bedroom, although this only had a few drinks choices in there. She felt quite unwell and hadn't eaten all day and got quite upset. When we phoned the emergency number to ask for help ordering a taxi, my friend was quite upset on the phone, but the lady she spoke to just argued with her. We had difficulty getting a cab and had a difficult start to our day, which meant we missed meeting with our friends. This spoilt one of our days. On this day in question, we managed to get a lift with other guests who had wisely hired a car only to be phoned by a woman who told us that finally a taxi had arrived, but we had now missed it. She was quite annoyed with us on the phone and not understanding at all. It was quite unpleasant. There were a few times we would have quite happily eaten there and ordered drinks, but when we asked the lady at the front desk it felt very much like they were under-staffed and she was doing us a favour getting us drinks. I never felt that I could ask her anything. There was a communication barrier that wasn't just down to language problems, she was rude and abrupt. At breakfast time, I usually went downstair towards the end of the breakfast serving time and it took a long time to wait for staff to provide cutlery or glasses for juice. I'd have to wait for ages to ask for a plate. Most of the breakfast buffet wasn't replenished towards the end of the breakfast time so I just took the scraps and had to balance everything on one plate because it took too long to ask for things from staff. When this lady on the front desk ordered a taxi for us on the last day to get to the airport. It didn't turn up again and I had to ask her a second time to chase it, but she knew we'd had problems getting taxis throughout our stay and never proactively checked if it was coming. She told us to walk down to the car park and get it there. When it hadn't arrived I realised that there had been a communication barrier I'd said to her that I wanted to arrive at the airport at 12 and asked her advice on when would be best to order the taxi, with that in mind. She misinterpreted that as needing the taxi at the hotel at 12. When we realised what had happened she said it was my fault and was very cross. I wanted to point out that it was us that should be cross as it was us who might miss our plane if traffic were bad, but I didn't want to get into an argument with her. This was the tone she had with us throughout the entire stay. When we checked out at the end of the hotel, she reluctantly order a cab for us, and didn't even ask if we'd had a nice stay. She was very dismissive. It is for this reason that we wouldn't go back there. Which is a shame because the hotel itself is very nice, but the service is appalling. I could have spent a lot more time at that hotel, eating lunch and drinking prosecco, but we went elsewhere because this woman didn't seem to even want us there. It seems an odd way to run a hotel business.
