It is a good point to visit the wonderful Sierra de Andújar, our objective was to know its privileged nature and be able to observe unique species. Thanks to the help of Guillermo, who guided us on a private property to be able to observe lynxes in freedom and with total respect for the species, it was an unforgettable experience and highly recommended. In addition, you can eat a simple but homemade menu there, we will repeat the experience

Nice little wooden lodge, perfectly located in the national park. A great base if you are aiming to search for the Iberian Lynx, go birding or have a cycling holiday. The host is very warm and friendly. He couldn't do enough for us during our stay. He spoke little English, we have little Spanish but through smiles, phrase books and good humour we communicated very well. We ate in the bar / restaurant most nights, which is a testament to how great the food was. If you are a meat-eater, this is the place for you my friends!! Our lodge was the disabled one as one of us uses a wheelchair. There is a ramp into the lodge, the doors are widened and the kitchen units have been lowered to aid wheelchair use. There is also a ramp into the restaurant. If we go back to this part of the world we will definitely stay here again.

We spent 9 nights here when tracking Lynx. The lodges are set on the edge of the national park and ideally located for those who want to go looking for wildlife. We stayed in Lodge 5 which has been designed for wheelchair users. On the whole it was very well done but there is no seat in the shower and there is limited space around the toilet. Fine for those like me who have some mobility but it may be more difficult if you do not. Both our lodge and the restaurant have ramp access and although we spoke no spanish and our host spoke no english he could not have been more welcoming, helpful or generous to us during our stay. Great food at the restaurant and knowledgeable host who is happy to help you with advice on the best places to find the lynx. A very enjoyable stay and I would definately return and recommend it to others
