A place that, from my point of view, has dropped significantly in quality over the years. For a four-star hotel, the condition and, above all, the cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. And even more so considering that we paid almost 100 € per night for the room. The rooms are somewhat renovated, but basically with old painted furniture and little else. It is noticeable that it is quite neglected. The hair dryers are super old and practically useless for drying hair. One of the bathroom lights was not working. But the worst part was the cleanliness. When we arrived at the room it was dirty: there were several clumps of hair on the floor mixed with lint, the fridge was white with the dust it had and, upon entering the bathroom, we found the underside of the toilet seat full of short hairs of dubious origin and, to top it off, poop stains on the side of the toilet. We also found several hairs on the beds and on the pillows. We reported it at the front desk and they offered to change our room, something we appreciate. The problem is that when we entered the new room, we found the toilet dirty again, once more with dark yellow stains on the bottom of the lid. Furthermore, one of the bedspreads had a huge yellow ring, perfectly visible. I can understand that bedspreads might not be changed between guests if they are clean and in good condition, although personally, I do not think it is the most appropriate thing. But when finding a bedspread with such a large and obvious stain, I consider that it should be essential to remove and change it. Regarding rest, another quite negative point is the soundproofing. You can hear absolutely everything. During our entire stay, we were constantly hearing doors slamming from the rooms and any noise from the hallway. It is very difficult to rest under those conditions. The reception staff was friendly and polite, and I want to highlight that. They even offered us breakfast as compensation for the inconvenience, but we decided not to accept it. I do not think it is normal for a guest at a four-star hotel to have to clean their own toilet because there is no one available to clean it. If cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence, at least there should be someone available to resolve these types of issues. And there was one last detail that particularly caught our attention. When we were leaving, the cleaning lady asked us which room we were staying in. This gave us the feeling that there is not even proper coordination regarding which rooms are checking in and out each day and which ones need to be cleaned. In short, a very disappointing experience. Paying almost €100 per night, you expect at the very least to find a clean room, a bathroom in good condition, and to be able to rest. We hope that this review reaches the appropriate person and that these aspects are reviewed to improve the hotel. Linares is a beautiful city and we believe it deserves to have a hotel worthy of such a pretty city and the people who come to visit it.

All from 10, service, facilities, cleaning. Super recommended

As I had seen the standard room, old-fashioned, unrenovated, I booked the suite, and yes, renovated, but I have spent cold, poorly soundproofed, dark, the soaps of the bathroom are sachets of gel and shampoo and the cleanliness just, to finish, the breakfast corresponding to a boarding house, like the whole hotel. I do not understand the 4 stars of this hotel.
