Los Agustinos

Stayed two nights in a Junior Suite room. Location is great and the building is amazing - so much history! Our room was lovely, spacious with high ceilings and traditional furniture. Yes, one or two areas looked a bit worn but, for us, it added to the charm. Everywhere was clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Great value for a unique hotel

We thought it was a good hotel because of the ratings and it is an old and dirty place. The carpet was very torn and stained, the furniture and the bathroom, old, the windows dirty, full of dust, the grilles facing the cloister have not been cleaned for a long time. the door panels are full of dirt and dust, the bathroom was not very clean (there was some hair in the bathtub). And there was also an unpleasant smell, like pipes, mixed with the smell of the product they used. I found it disgusting. It is unacceptable that they charge 180 euros a night. It has a bad reputation among the local people, but then, they give it good ratings on the platforms. We will never go back.

You cannot attribute 4 stars when it is a hotel that has not been renovated for decades; outdated furniture in inadequate condition, the bed a horror, popcorn ceiling paint in 2026!, actual door keys, with their 20*10cm keychain, very outdated sink, reception correct bordering on dry/unfriendly, in short, everything like that. The building is a 14th-century convent, a beauty, but by itself, it does not give the hotel a 4-star rating. Honestly, a 2-star hotel.
