September 26. Our second stay this year at ocano. Rooms are well equipped. Spacious. And very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. And the room service and cleaning is second to none. Absolutely fabulous stay. Will recommend to anyone. Neil. Yorkshire.

Great Location and Atmosphere, But Avoid Front Rooms If You Want to SleepThe location of this hotel is fantastic. It is situated right by a buzzing square with lots of great little bars and restaurants. The atmosphere in the area is wonderful, the staff at the local eateries were incredibly friendly, and all the bars were showing the football matches, which made for a lively vibe.As for the hotel room itself, it was very basic but clean, providing just enough for what we needed. However, if you are a light sleeper, there is a major issue you need to be aware of. Avoid rooms 100, 101, 102, 200, 201, and 202 if you can. These rooms face a neighboring hotel where shuttle buses pick up passengers, making them extremely noisy.To make matters worse, the rooms do not have air conditioning. You are forced to leave the balcony doors open at night, otherwise the room traps the heat and feels like leaving a dog in a hot car. Just as the night air finally cools down enough for you to fall asleep, the morning noise begins. At 6:00 AM, the bins are emptied and delivery trucks start arriving for the surrounding hotels, completely ruining any chance of a lie-in.Two days before checking out, I discovered by chance that you can actually hire a fan from reception. When I asked the staff why this wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in, they simply told me it was stated on their website. It would have saved us a lot of sleepless nights if this had been communicated upon arrival.It is a decent base for a holiday due to the location, but the management needs to improve communication regarding fan rentals, and light sleepers should definitely request a room away from the front of the building.

From the moment I checked in I knew my stay was going to be nothing short of an incredible, stress free, chilled get away. Staff, house keeping and other guests were all too tier. I stayed in the deluxe apartment which was lush! So clean, own kitchen, massive room and amazing balcony terrace overlooking the pool and amazing views of the mountains. I will be definitely booking Oceano again.
