The apartments are adequate and clean, the snack bar has quick service and a range of tasty food and drinks reasonably priced. Bring your own pool towel none are supplied and expect to be exposed to full sun around the pool. Only a handful of umbrellas are available and they get taken down because of wind problems. Obviously this has been an issue with them for awhile and no solution has been used to secure the umbrellas to weighted stands, despite umbrella man/pool attendant still sitting under one when he has taken the handful that exist down for others. Expect to be sunburned around the pool area as there is little shelter only the snack bar and your apartments.

we had a good stay. The room was modern, updated, and had great air conditioning. The balcony was a sun trap, and the pool bar and breakfast were excellent. The hotel's location is great, and the walk to the beach and back wasn't as bad as expected. The main restaurant menu could be improved, and the hotel really needs to tackle the issue of guests reserving sunbeds with towels early in the morning and leaving them unused for hours. Unfortunately, building work behind our room meant we were woken by noise around 8am every day, and children were often running around unsupervised into the late evening.

Complex is good,but pool area needs revamp, lack of umbrellas,think there are about 15 in total,sun beds are a bit dated & past there best. Lot of work going on at present ,so constant noise of work replacing plasterwork on walls ,stairs,plus if you are in apartment near maintenance mens workshop.they all gather about 7.30 am & sit about for at least 30mins before they start not the quietest. Good points apartments are ,clean & well maintained,staff are real selling point of Bitacora club, could not be friendlier or helpful.bar area good value for breakfast & during day. Only downside is hill up to complex,but Taxis are cheap. Seem to allow a lot of large parties same sex, If arriving after about 10.00pm no reception,so you have to phone to get access instructions,on how to get into your room,no notice of this in advance.
