Blue Sea Kontiki

The joy of being back in Kontiki! This is our 6th time here as a family of 3. CANNOT recommend it highly enough! We have a 1 bedroom poolside seaside view & it is fantastic. The decor has a lovely seaside theme, the kitchen has everything you could need on hols, shower in bathroom is brill, and the pool and solarium have ample sunbeds. All staff in our experience are simply outstanding. Evening and night time in this venue is so peaceful with all options for entertainment literally moments away. Kontiki will always be our slice of holiday heaven. We have four more days before facing back to wind & rain🌧 ! Intend to enjoy every second!

A very dingy hotel with very few redeeming features. The location is good, but that is really where the positive comments end. The staff are grumpy and unhelpful, the room cleaning is very poor, the food is bland and overpriced and the whole hotel is pretty run down and needs a refurb. Rooms are only cleaned every second day, the rooms are not very well equipped and they are old and dingy. The airconditioning barely works, the bed in the bedroom is a sofa bed and the pillows are cheap rubbish. The towels are paper thin and the bathroom is vile. The pool area is basic and the lifeguard who wouldn't be able to save himself let alone anyone else just sits whistling at anyone who dares to move a sunbed in or out the sun. The restaurant staff give the impression they barely tolerate your existence and the food is not worth the overpriced amounts. Really disappointed and the pictures are very clever in hiding what the actual condition of this place is like.

This was by far the best overall apartments we have stayed in, in PDC. Just so nice, staff helpful and friendly. Rooms beautiful and clean, decorated so niche and all matching 🤣. So relaxing, toilet round pool are, never a problem getting a bed and sun decks are so clean. Literally can’t be beat for location, at the notorious cardiac hill but only a short walk and taxis are really good value for money. Definitely recommend and will return.
