H10 Timanfaya Palace

Fantastic hotel but all the comments state there is a strict long trousers policy for the evening meal but is definitely not the case here now and anything goes as long as it's not swim wear 👍

This is our tenth visit to Timanfaya Palace so it goes without saying that we consider the place to be our favourite holiday hotel. So why do we keep returning? Well, it is just a lovely place to be! Location is perfect, overlooking the sea and Fuerteventura. The hotel building is stunning with a spectacular reception lobby. Waterfalls cascade throughout the public areas and tiered hillside gardens, culminating in a huge overflow into the massive outdoor swimming pool. So that’s just for starters. Add to that the spacious rooms (immaculately maintained), first class restaurants, plentiful sun-loungers, and attentive staff and you could not ask for more. Ah, yes, the staff! The management love their hotel and their staff and it shows. From reception to housekeeping to restaurants and maintenance, all staff members serve with a friendly smile. Restaurant and bar staff all work like clockwork, always friendly, frequently funny but always incredibly efficient. Bars are waiter service so no interminable queues, and boy, do those guys work hard. In short, if your idea of a perfect holiday is total relaxation in a lovely setting, with first class food and wonderful staff I cannot believe you can be anything but delighted by the Timanfaya Palace experience! Can’t wait to come back next Spring!

Third time here and as fabulous as ever! I cannot rate this place highly enough. Everything was perfect for us as usual. Went just with my two sisters this time, one of whom is in a wheelchair with very limited mobility. Requested an adapted room and got just that (thank you, Jose, for arranging this). The three of us shared room 409 and even with the extra bed, there was plenty of space for us. Special mention to Pepe in the restaurant - he made sure we had a table for dinner each night that my sister could easily access. This service and attention to detail is what keeps us coming back again and again. See you all in October, when we'll be coming with our husbands once more. Thank you for another wonderful holiday!
