Lanzarote Paradise

Location was a bit out the way , nice apartments but no air con in any of them . Beds were uncomfortable , about a 30 minute walk to main square or roughly €5 in a cab . 1 towel change in a weeks stay is Unhygenic balcony wouldn’t have got mopped or brushed if I didn’t do it , no shop on site , if I was to go back to Costa teguise I would stay near the main square

Currently staying here. Apartments are ok, a decent size, good kitchen and plenty of utensils etc, they are well maintained but very basic. NO AIRCON, in them either. Beds are uncomfortable and they are single beds. Been here nearly a week and not had a towel change. Pool area is kept clean and there is a lifeguard on duty, however the male lifeguard does walk around the pool regularly and does what he is supposed to do, whereas the lady lifeguard sits in the shade for most part of the day, only coming out now and again. Pool is very cold when you first get in. These apartments are great if you want to be away from the main area, however be prepared for a 25/30 min walk down into the centre of the town. You can always get a taxi, which is just over € 3.50 depending which way you go and where you are dropped off. There are no shops/bars or supermarkets nearby either. There is a bar on site, however the food is really basic 😐 but edible. The picture of the pool with the bridges over it, is a bit misleading as it does not belong to the Lanzarote Paradise apartments, this pool is next door in their sister apartments and unless someone tells you about it, you will not find it. The pool area is really small as is the terrace surrounding it and there is NO SHADE... The main pool is not easily accessible for those with mobility issues. The steps going in are to the pool are too far apart from each other, especially when climbing out of the pool. I had difficulty getting myself out and had to have help!!! The steps are also wobbly and need to be cemented down. NOT ENOUGH umbrellas here, could do with few more dotted around the pool. Plenty of sunbeds though. Staff are polite and friendly, especially the lady receptionist who is on in the evenings, the lady with the curly shoulder length hair and glasses. Would i return, probably not... Would i recommend, well it would depend what you're looking for. If these apartments were closer to the centre, they would be ideal.
