Marconfort Atlantic Gardens

Absolutely amazing location and perfect facilities. Staff went over and above to make sure the stay was special.

Location- Very close to Playa Blanca centre. Can get a taxi for €5-£6 euros. Lovely promenade and can walk to Flamingo Beach where there’s a front of shops, sports bar and 1 or 2 restaurants. 30 mins from ACE airport. Atmosphere- Very quiet around the pool. When we arrived it was busy but dead silent. It would be nice if there was some music, not loud but just at the pool snack bar or something. Evening entertainment was ok. We didn’t really watch it but we heard it and it wasn’t terrible. Wasn’t on for long on most evenings. On Wednesdays they clean the pool area and it doesn’t open until about 9am. There is a bit of sunbed wars which we hate and you do have to get up if you want a decent spot. Some fellow travellers woke up at 7am to put towels down!! Ridiculous. Rooms- We stayed in apartment 408. The apartment was clean and bed was pretty comfortable. We did have an issue with the toilet and the drain system with the shower but maintenance fixed it asap. We also had a nice view of the grounds and there were a few pretty plants. Food/Drinks- We actually thought the food was very nice. Breakfast was a bit the same but that’s what you get everywhere. We found the restaurant and kitchen to be clean and they had a good selection of meats and options every day. I’m not a dessert person so can’t speak on the desserts as didn’t have any. If you’re a Prosecco lover they actually have Prosecco and not cava!!! We were pleasantly surprised. There are dedicated smoking areas. You can’t smoke at sunbeds there is a smoking area with only 3 tables in set the side of the main bar area. It wasn’t a huge deal for us but it was a bit annoying having to go there all the time. Take own towels for pool with you as no towels provided by hotel. Staff were really friendly and we didn’t have any problems with them at all. Reception staff very helpful and cleaning staff always said hello. WiFi didn’t reach our room inside which was slightly annoying but it wasn’t a massive deal. A few cats around and I think they are the hotels cats. We hate cats but they don’t bother you.

The bungalows were great, some might say basic bit everything you needed was there (incl airconditioning in the living area) Food - OMG....so much choice, such great taste ..absolutely 10/10. Some people moaning about food being repetitive but when there are mealtimes with fish, chicken and pork what more do you want? Beautifully prepared food, great staff Pool, nice, plenty of deckchairs. If I had to be picky I would say that there could be more attention on Ricky and his entertainment schedule. Entertainment during the evenings was great (except 1 night when an elderly snger wasn't hitting the right notes. All inclusive drinks ...good choice, great staff in the cocktail bar. There's also a snackbar menu inbetween mealtimes. Cannot fault this hotel , the staff or the food
