Parador de Leon. San Marcos

A marvel. That is what you get when sleeping in a monument and in a setting from the history of Spain. If you go, please visit the library and look around because art surrounds you. The cloister is one of my favorite places. All the rooms have everything necessary, although the suites are on another level. It is worth visiting at least once: charming, spacious, with a shower and bathtub. Pay attention to the complimentary bar and the welcome gift. Very good breakfast and an excellent restaurant where the attentive service to the diner and some local dishes stand out. Friendly staff, and in recent visits, it has seemed warmer to me than in previous years. Personally, I appreciate it.

We have returned after many years and not only does it maintain its splendor, but the Bringas project has suited it very well. The new atrium is wonderful and the art galleries are very interesting. We had tapas at the bar, very pleasant. The rooms have improved and the areas of the cloister, church, stairs, and adjacent lounges are very well done. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good and varied. It is a luxury to be able to visit León and stay at San Marcos.

Beautiful comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, great location, attentive staff. Dinner at restaurant was wonderful...tasty and staff so friendly
