Casa Estampa

The breakfast is absolutely lacking in quality and variety, the worst I have had in the entire Valley, plus you have to wait for them to serve you, it seems like they are afraid that it will run out, it is not an open buffet. The wifi is a disaster and the TV is not tuned, twice I asked for it to be repaired and they did not solve it. The pool empty and full of dirt. Hotel in full decline.

Arrived at this quaint’ish hotel after a long drive, and nearly missed our dinner slot, noting that we booked half-board. Well, let me tell you, I had venison for the main course and never have I had a more succulent & generous portion…the wine flowed so easy that I happily melted into the night. The next morning, breakfast was a straight forward affair that set us up nicely for the day ahead. And so, the same happy pattern continued during our stay there…the room was old world rural, a tad dark, but comfortable all the same. If visiting Val D’Aran in the future, I would seek this hotel out again.

We stayed in Casa Stampa with my husband and our 4 year old son. The room was a bit small, but it did not matter much as it was very comfortable and the hotel and surroundings were so beautiful we did not spend much time indoors. The staff is great, treatment of everybody 120%, they helped us in everything we needed including laundry, recommmendations and gluten free food for every meal. as they are in a busy season, they asked us to order dinner in the morning through a survey, that we found it to be a really good idea so dinners were more relaxed for everyone. We felt like family and we will come back for sure.
