Chalet Bassibe

Lack of qualified staff, supposedly a 4-star and even my 9-year-old daughter said she looked like a 2-star. The first night the fire alarm went off at 5am for 5minutes and the next night at 1h30. During the stay they only made the beds and not the cleaning. Neither the toilets nor the dirty glasses were collected. On the third day I took them out. There was no control for the TV, although neither was the antenna working. No shower mat. The restaurant a mess and lack of cleaning in general. The director always with the smile gave surreal answers. It's just that we've changed the cleaning staff and they don't know, it's just that we're saturated and full, it's just... A nefarious address. If one pays the price in high season it also requires that it be in line with what is offered. And if they don't have qualified personnel, they'll have to train them, but it's not a justification. I thought they'd have a commercial gesture at least because of the multiple disruptions and not even that. The last day I had to carry all the luggage alone and the receptionist didn't even make friends to help. Not to mention they say they have a pool and that's for killing themselves. Slippery floor and cold water. The truth is a shame and that one makes an effort to go with his family and really him not being able to rest after a long day of skiing is truly unconscionable. The principal told us they had a sensitivity problem with the fire alarm. But that is not an argument to justify the disorder. I really believe that travelers should have this information as the prices are very high and not justified.

PAINFUL maintenance! Too bad a hotel like this in Baqueira is so neglected in the rooms (at least ours). And this is what is happening to Baqueira in general, prices that do not correspond to the quality offered.

Great location, close to the chairlift, permanent shuttle from the hotel. The lounge bar with wood fire is very comfortable and renovated, friendly staff. The restaurant offers an important choice, the dishes are good and well presented. The wine list is correct and prices reasonable. Buffet breakfast is not always provided regularly. The small pool is warm even if it does not offer views. The comfortable room had a renovated bathroom. The stay was disturbed by a group of children whose dozen were particularly noisy and invasive, at the pool, in the living room, in the restaurant as well as in the corridors of the rooms... too bad!
