Sao Hotel Bescaran

We spend 5 nights there and we really liked the hotel and enjoy our stay there. The rooms have a very nice design like the hotel, everything is balanced within the traditional houses there and the modern confort. We really think this hotel deserve more than 3 stars. The staff were friendly and always willing to make us feel like home, plus the food was amazing. Worth to visit for a relax escape in the middle of the mountains!

i booked the sao hotel on the 31may 2017 but the hotel was closed and no sign on the door.A neighbor was kind enough to fone the owner or manager who offered another hotel too far away,so I did not go there and they charged me any way for the room .70 euros!! That is quite a service!

We had a long and very scenic drive up to this hotel, BUT it was worth every kilometre! Our room was immaculate, bedding excellent, views stunning, quiet and sweet smelling. The room was very black and lacked some hooks in the bathroom. The food was sooooooo good, fresh and beautifully prepared, almost served in the tapas style. Wines excellent. Breakfast fantastic - such a spread. Madame is truly adorable and so happy and helpful. Parking good. Sanitation excellent.
