We went for a long weekend. The room was very nice and spacious. The restaurant was very good and not too expensive. We even had dinner at the bar, which has a different menu, and it was very good. The spa was good; we could only go one day because it closes early. When we booked, we thought it was closer to the town, but it is in a quiet setting away from noise, which was very good for us.

The Spa has services closed for maintenance, ice, a shower and the Roman sauna, or they do not work as they should, the Filanish sauna leaks and almost does not heat the atmosphere. The normal way is to notify when you call by phone and report these shortcomings, since the price per session (36 euros per person) is high and does not change despite not having all the elements of the circuit.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that there was overbooking and that our reservation could not be met as we expected. This caused us many inconveniences as we had planned our stay in advance. Although the receptionist offered us another alternative for accommodation in El Parador but without a spa, the situation was frustrating. and negatively affected our experience. We expected better handling of reservations and more prior communication to avoid these problems. Please check directly with the hotel prior to your arrival to ensure your reservation is confirmed, and be prepared in case of overbooking.
