Inconvenient location for those who need to go to the city center. I stayed with my wife and daughter, and the room was definitely small. Disproportionate price; breakfast is very expensive on its own. Coffee machine in the room with capsules only for the first day. I asked for two capsules, and they did not give them to me. I do not recommend it.

We were supposed to be arriving here at about 7pm but because of a train breakdown only arrived shortly before 11pm. We had assumed that as this was in the middle of Madrid and on a Friday evening, something to eat would have been available. We have sent the hotel several text messages during the afternoon warning them that we were delayed and asking if there would be something to eat when we arrived. We were tired after a 13-hour journey, having had only a snack lunch, and no dinner. We were disappointed to be told that the restaurant and cafeteria had both closed. It was not yet 11pm and the signs said that it stayed open until 11.30 on weekdays, but it was firmly shut. Not even a drink was available. The reception told us there were restaurants and cafés along the road but after walking about half a mile we found nothing.  So we returned to our hotel room and looked in the fridge. It was empty. Nothing at all - no drinks, not even a bottle of water. The room did have a complicated coffee machine that produced bitter coffee which I did not like and could not drink.   The next morning I was told we had not booked for breakfast! At that point I got quite cross and told them to change the booking because I was famished. That worked.       I strongly suggest that in future this hotel offers some sort of snack pack for guests who arrive late. Some sweet or savoury biscuits, a portion of cheese, a yoghurt, maybe some dried fruit and a small bottle of wine, beer or water (according to choice) would be a bare minimum. Why not keep some frozen pizzas in the hotel kichen and heat them up for a late guest to eat in their room? Imagine you had arrived after a 13 hour journey and had to go to bed hungry. It's not a nice experience.
