NO - STOP - DO NOT VISIT I stayed at this hotel for several days, so did many of my friends from work. Four credit cards were STOLEN from INSIDE my bedroom while I was eating breakfast. The DND (do not disturb) sign was on my door that day, but the staff still entered. In fact they came into my room two times in 8 minutes (this information was given to me by the hotel, when they examined the electronic door lock). The information clearly showed that a hotel staff member entered my room at 815am and 823am. Five other friends of mine ALSO had credit cards STOLEN from inside their bedrooms ! The hotel mananger did not handle the case well.

The hotel very nice and the staff very friendly, but I had dilemmas with the air conditioning. I went in early April (Easter) and it was quite hot in Madrid. During the day it was between 25-28°C, even one day we reached 30°. When I got to the hotel and they gave me the room, when I entered the room it was 27oC, and the first thing I did was put the air conditioning. It was a while and the temperature was not dropping, so I called reception and asked how the air worked, if it was broken. They told me that because of the dates they were, the heating was still on and to turn off the air and open the window. That day I was with the window open and even slept with it open, but the room was not lower than 25.5oC. The next day, I asked if they could leave me a fan because the room did not drop in temperature, and they told me they did not have it. They changed my room and at first well, it was at 24 - 24.5oC but at the hours already, it rose to 25, and it did not go down again. I understand that for the dates they have the heating, and more knowing that the weather in Madrid was a little crazy lately, but that would have to be adapted day by day. I actually slept terrible for the first 2-3 days.
