Confortel Atrium

In the sticks of Madrid, even the sight impaired receptionist said "estamos mal conectados".. which means "we're badly vonnected".. Takes almost 2 hours daily to get to the centre of Madrid by bus. We're just getting taxis everywhere. The rooms are spacious but it is not worth it being so far from everywhere. 10 mins to the closest bus stop.

Arrived. No outside bar space all inside. Small pool. Workmen workin in room corridoor Asked to move re drilling carpet etc moved ok- just down the corridoor. Bathroom - no large bath rails to exit and separate shower either boiling hot or cold - no safety temp stop or obvious guidelines…. Asked for 2 days to sort…. Showered using bath shower head……. Food/drinks not evident as in an event or dining room in hotel….our overriding Tourist experience was only satisfied by The Teatro Madrid Experience!! 5star! And the wonderful local restaurant around the corner!!! A find thankgoodness as close and very good!! And “Jesus” was a wonderful waiter - & fab food & drinks! So we went there a lot……Secundo Acto!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Generally a Hotel lacking ambience & warmth & good food & drink as a basis🤔🫣 Felt as if they were on a cutback and aspects re a working together feel was def lacking…….sadly……

We were mugged right at the hotel entrance door. it was 8 PM. The hotel has NO security at the entrance! They have NO OUTSDIDE LIGHTS (it is dark) at the entrance......you are on your own.... The area is an office area and there is no one at night. It's a very nice Hotel but the security stinks!
