Ibis Alcala de Henares La Garena

I stayed here in order to see the full solar eclipse as it was in its track and it was good value. You only really need the sky so here was a location as good as any really. It was close to the local Cercanías railway station to get to Madrid when necessary and there are shops nearby and some fast food chains. There was not much noise except for one night and it got solved easily by the attentive staff member. It is probably an hotel also useful is travelling through Spain by car as near the motorways.

A typical Ibis hotel that delivers exactly what you'd expect. Breakfast is good and the staff are friendly. One of the highlights is the parking — huge and free, which is a big plus if you're traveling by car. It's a great choice if you want to stay outside Madrid, but for those who'd rather visit the city center, there's also public transport nearby.

The beds and pillows are truly amazing. You sleep very, very well. Clean and well-maintained hotel. Reception staff are generally friendly. 100% recommended
