We stayed 1 night (booked 2) in June 2024 in the Barcelo 30 BA apartment. The sofa was very stained, a bedside table missing, rusty bathroom waste bin, no hanger in the bathroom, dust everywhere and last but not least in the morning, when we woke up, we found a cockroach in the bathroom. I promptly called reception telling what happened and asking to be refunded. An attendant told me I'd be called back, but nothing. I sent many messages via whatsapp, but nothing. They even charged me on the second night even though we had left the apartment around 9am. Highly recommended!!!!!

Best location in Málaga for sure, once you step out of the building you will be right at the beating heart of Spain with all the cafees, shopping, clubs, pubs, restaurants you can think of. Not to mention the beach is pretty close if you wan't to enjoy the sourroundings of palmtrees, mojitos and of curse the eternal sunshine from a clear blue skie. The Hostel is very clean, the personal nice and they are always a personal ready to help. The prices ære also extremely fair escpecially after all the upgrades they made including the brand new beds in the whole building and additional Queen bedrooms. I realy like this place. Works both for singles and couples and I recommend both the Queen and the single bedroom.

We only stayed 1 night , the important thing to remember is it is a no frills hostel. You pay for what you get, the sheets were clean the bed was comfortable, reception is 24/7, ok there are communal showers and toilets this is detailed on their website, yes the outside traffic and bars are noisy but its a hostel , if you want more luxury’s check online. For the money we thought it was a bargain , a few things to share with you , the hostel doesn’t have a safe so make sure you secure your valuables and lock your door, wear footwear when using the communal bathrooms as the tiles can be very slippery and other peoples hygiene standards may not be the same as yours. We will definitely come back and recommend Hostel Malaga City
