Hotel Tribuna Malaga

Ten minutes walk from the railway station. Paid extra for a superior room on the fifth floor, which had a large balcony with table and chairs as well as two sun loungers. Minor criticisms, no drawers and quite a small shower room. However a huge comfortable bed, with daily cleaning and laundry changes. Good people watching over the river and Marmoles bridge. (Busy junction but not noisy at night). We're Málaga veterans and love this bustling friendly city, visiting at least once a year. Central location was great, just a couple of minutes walk to Plaza de Constitution and Calle Larios. Loads of supermarkets near for grabbing drinks and snacks to enjoy on the balcony. (Fridge in the room for chilling). Just 100 metres around the corner is El Globo, a cracking locals bar (look out for the barrels for tables), ideal for soaking up the atmosphere before strolling to town for your evening meal. The hotel has a good breakfast room serving decent continental fare. Some people have criticised the hot offerings..... Note, the Spanish do not eat hot breakfast, so don't expect a typical "full English". The staff were all welcoming and friendly throughout and spoke good English, though in our case not important as I speak Spanish. They're more than happy to look after your luggage if your flight is early morning or later in the evening. Would we visit again? Oh yes, definitely again (probably May 2027)!

The hotel in good location but quite uncomfortable...we were 2 adults and two children and the room very small, the most uncomfortable and very small beds, , there was a lot of cleaning (there were hairs and lint) and a lot of noise day and night .. we had two nights and after the first we left ..expensive for what there is .. we always travel and it is definitely the worst hotel we have been in The only good thing is the very friendly and attentive location and reception

A gem of a hotel in Malaga. Location perfect for seeing the old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The twin room was small but perfectly adequate for myself and my friend. Parisiene balcony to get some fresh air. Breakfasts were very good though we didn't fancy the cooked offerings. would definitely stay here again.
