La Posada del Conde

We hesitated when choosing the hotel because of the latest bad reviews, but we wanted to sleep one night in the area to do the \"Caminito del Rey\" and decided to stay because of its excellent location (15 minutes walking from the entrance). Once there, we asked about some reviews and found out that there had been a temporary closure issue and they had changed owners. The hotel is great. The rooms, very clean and large enough, have air conditioning and a ceiling fan that is great for those of us who do not like to sleep with the air on. The bed was very comfortable and had incredible views of the natural park. The hotel staff was very friendly and they explained all the activities that can be done in the area, which are many, although we did not know it. There are not many services in the area but they have a restaurant called \"Savia\" where they serve the hotel breakfasts and it is simply spectacular, since we had dinner there the day we arrived. One of the best places we have been to in terms of value for money. But I think the restaurant deserves a separate review. We will return to enjoy the area for at least a full weekend. Spending only one night felt like too little to us.

Our stay at this accommodation was excellent; the room was spacious and very clean, and the best part was the views of nature! It is very well located; a pleasant and short walk takes you to the start of the Caminito del Rey and the reservoirs where you can enjoy various activities. We stayed for two days, and they advised us on the routes and activities we could do at the hotel itself. The breakfast was fantastic, in the same restaurant of the building, where we also made a reservation for dinner. Highly recommended for enjoying several days visiting the area.

Hotel recently renovated by new owners. Very good service and close to the entrance of the Caminito del Rey.
