Hostal Paco

Very central structure, located in Calle Peral, the main street to reach Marbella old town and, in any case, close to the Playa. The Service and the rooms, however, leave a bit to be desired... the rooms are small and not well stocked, we hope to find the hair dryer (1 in an entire structure) and the sockets, as well as the air conditioners, are still arranged with scotch. A cramped and unstylish environment. The price definitely high for the type of structure. The staff were generally courteous.

To get to the room, before you had to walk a maze for 3 floors, when you entered it already smelled BAD ! and smell BAD the whole stay, you only have 2 very basic beds, of which one leg came out, you slept afraid to fall. If it’s your turn on a hot day, you’ll have to choose between connecting the air conditioner or watching TV (just 14 inches), there are no plugs to connect both at the same time. The old bathroom, unkempt, with window to the hallway where people circulate...the terror shower. The staff just charges you for the stay, then it doesn't exist! The only good thing about this place is its location, in the heart of the old town, but even that doesn't make up for the Inn's mess. Worst part of this trip to Europe.

The most wonderful place we have stayed many many times with all our family and recommended to many friends. Berta and her team are incredible. I do have a negative though as my son and his girlfriend stayed last year and it was disappointing to hear that the clientele at Paco has declined. Very noisy and disrespectful to other people and security didn’t do anything after being asked several times. You do expect some noise it’s a budget accommodation but so clean location amazing and do hope they can keep their high valued customers returning
