Medplaya - Hotel Villasol

Just returned from a fabulous 9 days at this hotel . Absolutely fantastic. Staff were so helpful, nothing was a problem, Whole hotel spotlessly clean. Very comfortable sun beds and even when hotel was full never a queue or rush for them . The roof top bar is sublime. We have visited Benelmadena a few times before but this is by far the best by a mile . Thank you so much .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely unforgettable experience. Everything was a 10! After our stay at the Hotel Spirit Benalmádena we can only say one thing: what a wonderful team! From our arrival they surprised us with an upgrade to a front-facing room with spectacular sea views, a detail that made us start our vacation in the best possible way. The room was impeccably clean and a nice welcome gift was waiting for us. But what thrilled us most was finding a thank-you note written by the cleaner on the mirror. It is those small gestures that make the difference and demonstrate the care with which they work. We want to especially thank Chef Bena, who had a gesture we will never forget: he prepared an exclusive dish for my partner, carefully adapting it to their allergies. Finding professionals who get involved in that way gives enormous peace of mind and demonstrates an exceptional level of attention. Another person who made our stay even more special was Mirari, always looking out for us, getting everything we needed with a sincere smile and extraordinary kindness. Her close and professional treatment deserves special recognition. And, of course, we also want to congratulate the entire reception team, who always assisted us with enormous kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help at any moment. There are hotels with good facilities… and then there are hotels that make you feel at home thanks to the people who are part of them. Spirit Benalmádena belongs, without a doubt, to this second group. We will return without a second thought and will recommend it to everyone. I was dissapointed with the size of the twin bedroom. No bedside tables that you could speak of. No drawers for nicknaks or underwear. There was a small table on the balcony which we brought into the room. The balcony was small also, with a side sea view which you had to stand up to see. The front of hotel is situated at a very busy road, the noise of traffic is unbelievable when you sit on the balcony .We found the shower floor very slippy it would need the addition of a shower mat, also a handle to hold if you are unstable on your feet . The hotel was not mobility friendly. Food was not to our taste, no nice restaurants in the vacinity either. To reach the beach you had to decend 4 flights if steps, it was difficult having to ascend back up to hotel, unfortunately there was no other way down. Room was cleaned, and towels replaced every day.
