Nerja Club

We had a very enjoyable stay at Nerja Club and felt it offered excellent value for money. It's a three-star hotel, and for the price, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The pool area was a lovely place to unwind after a day exploring Nerja, and the breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options to start the day. What really stood out was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They were always happy to answer questions or assist with anything we needed, which made a real difference. The hotel is located in a quieter part of Nerja. It's around a 20-minute walk to the Balcón de Europa, which we enjoyed, but if you don't fancy walking, shared taxis are readily available and cost approximately €7–10 for up to four people, making it a quick and affordable journey. If you're looking for a lively party destination for a stag or hen weekend, this probably isn't the hotel—or the town—for you. Nerja has a much more relaxed atmosphere and is better suited to couples, families, and anyone looking for a peaceful break or a more laid-back celebration. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Nerja Club to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and good-value base for exploring Nerja. We would certainly consider staying here again.

The hotel is located at the entrance of Levante in Nerja, on what was once the N-340, very close to Burriana beach, they have the urban bus stop just a few meters away, and taxis come to the hotel service (I mention this because the distances average about 8 euros for the service in the urban area of Nerja), two well-known supermarkets are just a few meters away. The Nerja caves are 2 km away (taxi, and I refer to the previous point at most). We went as a couple at the end of June on a full board in the only room with a small balcony and, in my opinion, the worst room in the hotel and the only one that was available. But surprise, the buffet restaurant's food did NOT have much variety, but it did have quality (they even served us sardine skewers, and I emphasize I said skewers, not grilled sardines), the drinks were obviously separate and paid for during meals, except at breakfast. You can consume drinks in the pool area, but they are in very flexible plastic cups, meaning if you squeeze them too much, the drink spills. There is a downside that the meal times are not for Spaniards; they are designed for the English or Europeans from further north of the Pyrenees, with lunch from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and dinner from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It should be noted that in July they no longer provide the meal service from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and only half board with breakfast and dinner remains; I know this because I rebooked the only weekend in mid-July, and I did so in the best room the hotel has available. Ladies and gentlemen, I paid 300 euros for two days on the last weekend of June for Full Board; for that price, anyone who complains about the hotel should be hung from a palm tree. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with everything, from the receptionists, waiters, cleaners, and if you have any questions, they clarify them with total kindness and assist you if necessary. What more do they want? To win the lottery....!!! during their stay at the hotel...???

We really enjoyed our stay at the Nerja Club. The staff were all polite and helpful. Our room was quite spacious with a large balcony offering a sea view. We were on a half board basis and the food was fine with plenty of variety. The pool area was good and the pool itself warm and inviting. The Sports Bar was ideal for watching World Cup games and there was canny evening entertainment. The only downside is the steep walk to Burriana beach which might be too much for some but otherwise it was a memorable and relaxing stay.
