Parador de Nerja

Located overlooking the sea, it is a hotel with a modern setting. Comfort is present, in accordance with the standards of the paradors. The breakfast, as in all paradors, is very good. Equipped with a beautiful pool and large outdoor spaces to relax, an elevator allows you to go down to the beach and, above all, to come back up from it because it is not very pleasant. That is actually a bit of an issue; coming to Nerja for the sea (which is cold) is perhaps not such a good idea after all.

Sad to report that the excellent Parador , which we enjoyed several times, is now closed for major reconstruction, and will not be open for 2026.

A lovely hotel but now closed for refurbisment. Hope it doesn’t get spoiled! It has been a favourite of ours for many years.
