Villa Tiphareth

This hotel is a complete scam!!! BEWARE!!! We booked it through BOOKING and they confirmed our accommodation. We arrived and saw that there was no one there, we called the owner who is a Belgian gentleman, and we spent 1.5 hours waiting until he decided to answer us. And after asking what the code for the house was, he told us that the villa is called VILLA TESSA and that he no longer takes reservations by room but for the entire villa. Very bad on the part of the owner for not removing that listing! Because I just saw it and even so he hasn't removed the booking ad. He didn't want to find us an alternative, nor did he apologize to us, or anything. Do not book here, because you are going to arrive with all the excitement and you are going to find that there is nothing and that it is all a true scam!!! SCAMMER

Our stay at Villa Tipharet was absolutely disappointing. They housed us in a room that had nothing to do with what appeared on Booking: it looked like a makeshift shanty. The fan was not working, the shower was poorly installed, and the overall condition of the room was regrettable. As if that were not enough, we found bugs all over the room, which we found totally unacceptable. The most alarming thing was discovering a door that connected directly to the owner's room. We couldn't open it, but he could. This door overlooked our room, which made us feel totally unsafe and without any privacy. Commenting on the situation to the owner, instead of being sympathetic – considering that we were coming from Murcia, after more than five hours of travel and with all the luggage on top – he was adamant and with a high-handed attitude. It was impossible to talk to him. We called Booking to report the situation and they told us that within 21 hours they would give us an answer about the refund. It's been about 15 hours since then and we're still waiting. No one has paid us back so far, and all this has been a huge waste of time, money and peace of mind. An experience to forget. We do not recommend it at all. This site should not be advertised on serious platforms without prior inspection.
