Hotel Hacienda Puerta del Sol

The 3 of us mutually agreed that this was our favorite hotel in our 7 day stay in Andalusia region - not because it was the nicest hotel, it's because it has the most character and you felt like you are in Spain as opposed to just having a "night at another random hotel" :) The region is definitely on the hill, arrival on the main road is super easy, very scenic area adding even more charm to the hotel. The swimming pool/restaurant/garden/loungers at the front of hotel is a pure perfection - especially after they close down the pool for the night and the perfect silence kicks in, soooooooooo relaxing There is a "dirt" parking lot next door free, or there is a paid designated parking lot aright above it - we took the latter one, pictures attached We had some wine/beer and food in the evening at the a la carte restaurant/bar but didn't do the dinner buffet. The buffer in the morning was plentiful but compared to other places nothing to rave about. Room was fairly basic but it worked for 1 night - the whole placed didn't feel necessarily dated but it definitely wasn't modern - but I think that was its charm, that it had this old hacienda character, not sure if it was something else back in the days converted into a hotel but it definitely did feel as such, in a good way! Excellent family hotel. All the staff are super friendly. The cleaning ladies are super friendly, 100% professional. Everything is clean down to the smallest detail. I highlight the excellent service from Fernando, Máximo, Toni, and Gonzalo. In my opinion, they should extend the afternoon hours of the mini club because my daughter had a blast. Without a doubt, we will return.

It's great here for small to large. Enough animation the yoga was very nice that gave toni. They have a nice pool for young and old. The hotel is quietly located. There is no balcony but you can sit downstairs. Gym is top notch. You have to drive a bit for the villages. We would definitely come back. Super friendly staff
