Hotel El Tajo

Hotel below my expectations, smell of smoke in the corridor leading to the rooms, discreet breakfast with cameras pointing at the tables, good location compared to the center. The worst situation was with the extremely rude “older-than-age” lady railing at me because I couldn’t find my parking ticket. I'll never go back.

Room and bathroom clean. Very dark though, but for one night it is okay. Parking 15 euros a night is starting to get expensive. Nice welcome. Very well located.

Right in the city center, it is very well located. However, the parking lot is tiny. We do not have a big car, but she said it was not possible to park inside. You need a 206 size, no bigger. There is space on the street to unload the car and there is a covered parking lot a few hundred meters away. The hotel is in an old building; there are dehumidifiers everywhere running at full blast. We had 2 rooms, one that smelled very strongly of lemongrass and the other next to it of cigarettes. One with a modern bathroom, the other much less so. The rooms are clean nonetheless. The air conditioning units worked properly in our rooms. All the staff is very pleasant, smiling. We did not have a great night there due to the noise from the road.
