Roc Illetas Hotel Apartments

We stayed at this hotel with my family for the second time this year and had a wonderful experience. It is a beautiful place, with well-maintained facilities and a spectacular view that makes the stay even more special. From our arrival, the staff was very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help us with a smile. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and enjoyed a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Without a doubt, it is a hotel that we recommend to those looking to relax, enjoy an incredible landscape, and receive excellent service. We hope to return very soon!

This is the second time we are staying at the hotel because last year we had an excellent experience and we were delighted. Precisely for that reason, we have returned this year. However, this time we have felt quite disappointed. It is not normal for all the loungers to be "occupied" with towels by 8:30 in the morning when there were practically no one using the pool (attached photo). Neither on the first day nor on the second did we have the opportunity to get a lounger, not even in the sun, much less in the shade since the umbrellas available are minimal, which is especially important and necessary when going with our baby. Finally, we had to awkwardly settle with a towel in the area of the beach bar, without any comfort to enjoy the pool properly. However, it is worth noting that the pool floor remains very DANGEROUS. I mentioned it last year, and this time, I fell down the stairs leading to the second pool, and I hit my neck hard, which will cause me problems. There is no type of signage for slippery floors; even if there were, I would have fallen anyway since I was going very slowly because I was carrying my baby in my arms to make matters worse. Thank God nothing happened to her. Honestly, we believe they should urgently review the safety of that area because one day a worse tragedy will occur. As for the rooms, in our case, room number 43 has beautiful views, yes, but an infernal heat; the air conditioning is insufficient, more like a fan, and the mattress is extremely worn out with a large dip that makes it impossible to sleep well; it is clear that it has not been renewed in ages. The only positive thing is the staff, who are not to blame for anything; thanks to Fran (maintenance staff) for helping us take the stroller down to the pool since there are many stairs, and thanks to the lifeguard who was concerned about my back after my fall, offering me ice. It is a shame because we loved the hotel, and that is precisely why we decided to return; however, we will not come back nor recommend it. €300 invested in two days that have not been a good vacation experience, quite the opposite.

I’m so glad we chose Roc hotel for our holidays! From free yoga mornings to entertainment every night, ow take me back!! The service was amazing, all the staff from reception to gardeners above and beyond to help us with any questions. Diego and the the lovely “bald guy” at the reception were great!! Hotel cleaning was spotless and the mades were very good. Close to restaurants, beach, markets and Palma centre just 20mins away. Cannot recommend more! I will definitely come back ❤️
