Location is great, the atmosphere in the day time is brilliant nothing on after 7pm but a beautiful bar shame it don't get used. Rooms are well sized and very clean and welcoming, cleaners are all lovely. Visited this hotel twice not and never been disappointed. Lukas the entertainer is brilliant with the children keeping them entertained during daytime activities would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be coming again thats for sure

Globales Costa de la Calma – Honest Review First impressions of the hotel were actually very good. From the outside it looked really nice, and the reception area was clean, cool and tidy, with plenty of seating. We had an early flight, so our room wasn’t ready for a few hours, but this wasn’t really an issue. We were able to store our luggage in the hotel’s luggage room and head straight down to the pool while we waited. Pool & Kids Area The pool itself is a very decent size, and for us the main reason for choosing this hotel was the kids’ pool area. We have two young children and there was plenty for them to enjoy. There was also lots of seating around the pool, which meant we could relax while still keeping an eye on the kids. Room We upgraded to an apartment because we felt the standard room wouldn’t have been big enough for our family. We booked the upgrade through easyJet and, looking back, we definitely paid far too much for it. If you’re considering upgrading, I would recommend contacting the hotel directly first, as I’m sure you could get a much better price. The apartment itself was a good size and had a large balcony overlooking the pool, which was a great feature. It also had a sink, fridge, microwave and other basic facilities. There were two sofa beds and a double bed made up of two single beds pushed together. The maid service came every day, which was good, although the sheets weren’t changed during our stay. For the amount we paid, I would have expected the bedding to be changed more regularly. On one occasion I had a small cut which left some blood on the sheet. The maid had clearly seen it but simply made the bed rather than changing the sheet, which I wasn’t impressed with. Overall For me, this hotel is a 3-star at absolute maximum, and I’m honestly not sure where the 4-star rating comes from. There were a few things that just didn’t give me the feeling of a 4-star hotel. One thing worth knowing is that you’re not allowed to consume your own food or drinks around the pool. There are signs everywhere stating that anything consumed around the pool must be purchased from the hotel, which I found quite restrictive, especially when travelling with young children. The surrounding area also isn’t anything particularly special. It’s a bit of a walk to the main square and then further into the town, so location-wise I don’t think it compares particularly well with some other parts of Mallorca. Would I stay here again? Probably not. If we return to Mallorca, I’d personally choose Palmanova next time. I think it offers more in terms of location, atmosphere, restaurants and things to do. Overall, we had an enjoyable holiday and the kids loved the pool area, but I don’t think the hotel deserves its 4-star rating and, considering what we paid, I expected a better overall standard.
