SENTIDO Cala Vi

Great adult only all inclusive hotel in a beautiful peaceful cove. Direct access to the sea for swimming. Staff super friendly and helpful. Hotel room was clean and although we chose not to have daily refresh of towels and sheets this is an option. Great local restaurants nearby and a little supermarket. Close to Magaluf but it is a hilly work so if you have anyone I. Your party who struggles physically I recommend taxis - €5 each way. We did the Drach caves tour with a stop at Felantrix Market, Majorica Pearls and Porto Cristo…absolutely stunning!

Seriously disappointed! Booked a triple room, the single room was disappointing, the tv was above the headboard which made little sense? The room was also full of ants! We spoke to the Tui rep who said at least the air con is working, if you move to another it may not work! So we moved the bed as far as we could the other way We were all inclusive and though the food looked amazing it wasn’t great. One of the chefs was coughing and spluttering over the steaks he was cooking, then he walked to the corner spat into some tissue, threw it in the bin and carried on cooking the steaks without changing his purple gloves. We chose to go out to eat after that. We were given blue plastic tokens to exchange for drinks., for which there was always a long queue., especially at the pool bar, as the pool area was always busy. There only ever seemed to be 2-3 people serving and they were not friendly or welcoming. The small plastic cups the drinks were served in leaked all over you. The beer was awful and the cocktails were mocktails. The entertainment was more suited to children even though it was adults only, although at least they were friendly unlike the bar staff The room was cleaned well the first time day, after that the cups/ trays, the bathroom mirrors and sink dirty and the beds not made properly. some days although they took the towels we left in a bundle they didn’t replace them. But most shocking to me was the fact that although we were all inclusive, the water was only free for the first day, after that it was charged for. I have travelled to many poor countries where water was provided even on a B&B basis. I find this hard to believe for the money we were charged and for such a big hotel chain ,penny pinching gone too far!!! I will definitely will not recommend or ever stay in a Globales hotel again

We stayed at Globales Cala Vinas with TUI and although we enjoyed parts of our holiday, unfortunately there were a number of issues that affected our overall experience. The food was one of the positives. We thought there was a good choice and the quality was generally very good. The location is also lovely, with beautiful views and direct access to the sea. However, we found some aspects of the hotel disappointing. There were ants in our room, the lifts were inadequate for a hotel of this size and the pool area had a shortage of usable sunbeds, with several being broken. The drinks service was particularly frustrating. There was effectively only one main bar serving such a large hotel, which meant long queues and we found the drinks themselves quite weak and watered down. The drinks system (tokens & returning plastic cups) also felt unnecessarily complicated and the cocktails were disappointing. The biggest disappointment for us, however, was the way our final day was handled. On the morning of checking out, we were told that we could return to reception later that day and be given a key for access to the courtesy room to shower and get changed before our transfer. There was no indication that there would be any issue doing so. Importantly, we were not told that use of the courtesy room was on a first-come, first-served basis. Had this been explained to us, we would have made sure to go to reception and put our names on the list earlier, as we knew we wanted to spend the morning sunbathing before leaving. Instead, when we returned just over an hour before our transfer, we were told there was a huge queue/list of people ahead of us waiting to use the courtesy room. This had never been explained to us that morning, so it came as a complete surprise and left us with very little time and no clear alternative. We were told that the only other option was to use the outdoor showers by the pool, which we found a particularly unreasonable suggestion. What was most frustrating was the lack of help in finding another solution. We had specifically been told that morning that using the courtesy room would be no problem, so to then find ourselves in this situation shortly before our transfer was extremely stressful and left a real sour taste at the end of the holiday. With clearer communication about the first come, first served arrangement, this situation could easily have been avoided. Overall, there were some definite positives, particularly the food and location, but the number of issues we experienced, combined with the way our final day was handled, means we unfortunately wouldn’t choose to return to this hotel.
