Ariel

It is a nice hotel with room for improvement here and there. The beds and umbrellas could use an upgrade at the large swimming pool. Some cots are no longer functional. The buffet is good but can be busy when there is a queue of waiting people. Bring a Euro if you want to use the bar at the bars.

The Gavimar Ariel Chico is ideally located in Cala d’Or, 1 minute walk from the pedestrian center. Less than a 5-minute walk from the beach of Cala Gran and Cala Petita. The hotel complex is very clean and everything is designed for spending an excellent vacation there. The architecture of the buildings is really nice. The entertainment is varied, the all-inclusive hall is quite decent. The quality of the grilled fish is really great. The staff is very pleasant. We will return there with pleasure.

Excellent stay at the Ariel hotel where life is good, clean and bright, the staff is welcoming and pleasant. The pool with the bar and the entertainment is located in front of the hotel entrance but that does not cause any issues. We always found a lounge chair. The activity staff are very friendly and go to meet the guests. Shopping street with souvenir sales and small supermarkets. The beach is located a 5 min walk away (Cala Gran) as well as the city center. The port is a 20 min walk away. We took advantage of the shared bus transport. The buffet is decent. Quiet night. Small downside: Being located next to the laundry room, the carts woke us up in the morning around 8:00 AM, but the hotel is large, family-friendly, and has several buildings. I would have preferred brighter accommodations, but the one we had was clean and comfortable. Thanks to all the staff (who speak several languages very well, including French) and best of luck.
