Belvedere

The Hotel itself is very nice and clean. Rooms are a good size and what you’d expect of a hotel of this kind. There were a few ants in the room, but it wasn’t a big deal, and a few of the plug sockets wouldn’t let me plug an adapter in, but other than that the room was good. Location is a bit of a struggle if you have mobility issues as it’s quite a steep walk up to the hotel from the bars/restaurants. But other than that it’s a good distance from Palma and Palma Nova, either a free shuttle bus to Palma Nova from right outside the hotel reception. The staff are super friendly in my opinion and are very helpful. Hotel amenities are okay, surprisingly there’s no areas to fill water bottles up with drinking water other than in the main dining area, which is a juice machine that gets turned off after breakfast. When we stayed there was only one working lift out of the four, which made waiting times long and the lift was rammed, as you can imagine with nine floors. The pool is good and so is the pool bars. The food wasn’t good in my opinion, the only good thing was the breakfast pastries and pizzas at lunch/dinner (which were undercooked some times) so we went out to eat a lot of the time because we didn’t enjoy the food at the hotel. That being said the food from the snack bar was better than the buffet food in the main dining area. Overall the hotel itself is nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good as it’s a perfect distance from Palma by bus/taxi, as well as Palma Nova. But people with mobility issues may struggle with the walk from the bars/restaurants in the locality due to the steep walk. Food isn’t the best so I recommend going out for food- plenty of options near by and a quick taxi or bus in Palma for even more options.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, varied food options and clean and spacious rooms with air con. The pool area was immaculate. There is a free shuttle bus to and from Palma Nova which we found better than going to the local beach as there were a lot of steps down to the beach which were a killer walking back up in the heat! I would return here again if the price is good. I booked a last minute deal so got a package holiday at a great price.
