Best Western Plaza Santa Ponsa

i travelled with my sister lizzie ,it was originally for her and her husband but doggy wasnt well so i was asked to go with her .we were greeted by reception and was offered a glass of bubbly which was greatly appreciated after out trip.checking in was swift and we were shown to our room which was before allotted check in time and everything explained inc air con safe etc.the pool is lovely and has been upgraded since the photos were put upon website .the location was spot on beach opposite plenty off shops .the bar area is very bougie and upmarket and the staff very attentive .the breakfast was lovely everything was available full english continental fresh fruit cakes hot and cold drinks all in the price.the restaurant is probably the nicest we ate in and again staff were lovely.on day the weather was extreme and my sister passes at the shower by the pool due to the weather. within seconds help was at hand a nurse on holiday receptionist bar staff and toni the manager they dealt with the situation very fast and efficient i was in shock my sister unconscious and bleeding but after a trip to the fabulous hospital stapled up ,we were bk and enjoying our holiday and lizzie as if nothing happened we were in good hands ,what is a holiday without a fab hotel and even more fab staff .ive gone on a bit but please if u want a nice quiet chilled trip this is the place to go .special mentions to conchi,abdul.blandine and the others who i forgot to get their names from the bar.housekeepers who always kept our room spotless paqui mari mercedes and lola. reception luea lia roni and chef pedro .thank you everyone we had a lovely time and met some lovely people

Spent a lovely week at this hotel at the start of July. Lovely. Clean. Tidy. Quiet. The hotel staff were all amazing from the front of house staff to the housekeeping staff - all really superb. Can't recommend enough. If we had to find one fault (& it's pretty minor) - we stayed in a standard room at the front of the hotel. (Lovely room overlooking the square) - the rooms are quite compact - and storage for 2 extremely limited... just something to be aware of. It absolutely wouldn't put us off staying again though. Hotel is very central to the resort so easy to get about to bars and restaurants

Very nice hotel throughout, reception staff, housekeeping all friendly and so helpful. I would have scored this place 5 * but it was unfortunate that the air-con in the bedrooms was no where near sufficient. I think it is the same for all rooms. The pool is in desperate need of a handrail, not everyone is young and able to weight bare to get out of the pool. Apart from those 2 things, it was perfect.
