Cala Bona

Just returned from a great stay here! Highly recommend! Hotel in a great location in the setting of the harbour and right next to shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable. Towels replaced daily. I got upgraded to a sea view room and the view was gorgeous. My room was in a separate block from the main hotel so had to walk out of hotel and down the harbour for a couple of mins and past another hotel but this personally was not an issue for me. Very secure, you need your room card to get into building. You do have to pay for safe think mine was €20 for 5 night but you do get €10 back when checking out. Food in this hotel excellent and had different options every night, with some staples like chips and pasta. Food always being replenished and kept warm too! Great selection of deserts! Breakfast also great with everything you could want sweet and savoury! I loved all the fresh fruit and pastries, so tasty and pastries sometimes still warm! All staff very friendly and the ones in restaurant very attentive with clearing plates and taking drinks orders on an evening. Entertainment in hotel is great fun! The Take That tribute was my fave! It does get very popular though so go early if you want to he granted a seat. Pool area also very nice and kept clean. Plenty of sunbeds. I found the pool to be quite warm (bit warmer than i would have preferred as was so hot!) the pool area seemed to be such a sun trap so guess this is why! A few people i spoke to had been coming to this hotel for years and i can totally see why! Would love to return to this hotel in the future!

We have just spent 2 blissful weeks at this beautiful hotel its cleanliness is second to none the food is delicious well prepared always hot the staff thete are really pleasant and super helpful.our room was very spacious in the nemo part of the hotel only downside it got quite noisy some night the staff are wonderful nothing is any trouble the pool area is Spotless and Claire who runs the bar there is a wonderful cheery person she is none stop all day long from starting her shift til home time she is wonderful always very helpful the only downside to the pool area it can work out quite expensive for drinks and hot food but all in all gad a wonderful time thecwrather was scorching

Great location. Rooms on the small side for family of 4 but can always get dressed in the bathroom for more room. Food was very nice and fresh
