Las Arenas

Disappointing stay, especially the ending. My jewellery and sunglasses were stolen from my bag inside the hotel’s key-card-locked storage room on arrival. I reported it immediately, but staff said they couldn’t check the security cameras until I filed a police report. I did that the same day, and was told footage would be reviewed with the manager that night — instead I got “no update yet” for two days straight until I had to leave, with no resolution and no real urgency shown. To make things worse, on our final night (18 July) the power went out for several hours and came back on early hours of the morning - this meant no air conditioning and no water, in the middle of a heatwave. The next morning, the power cut out again mid-workout in the gym (a big reason we chose this hotel), which felt like a genuine safety hazard, and we still couldn’t shower before checkout due to no water. Overall a stressful, poorly handled end to our trip with no compensation offered.

Good stay at las arenas we had a fantastic view from our hotel balcony overlooking the beach. Room was on the smaller side but that didn’t bother us as we were hardly in it we were using it for a base to explore Palma. Bus service was great into Palma took 20mins on bus 25 and 35 and was 2 euros came every 10mins. Loads of nice bars & restaurants in Can pastilla everything on your doorstep but gone are the days where eating out is cheaper abroad we found it quite expensive meals for 2 were avaraging 70-100 euros and cocktails around 12 euros each. I would consider booking half board next time at las arenas as the breakfast was amazing. No kettle in room but could hire one at reception for 10euros although they don’t give us any mugs had to keep asking for paper ones. Air con in the room was rubbish it was 35degrees when we were there so maybe it just couldn’t keep up but did find it difficult to sleep as was too hot. Rooftop pool was lovely not many sunbeds but not an issue as you are right on a nice sandy beach. We hired bikes from outside hotel for 8euros each and cycled to Palma it was 8km and nice flat cycle track. I would definitely return to Can pastilla and las arenas hotel for the price we paid we were very happy with what we got.

The hotel is in a perfect location, but you can't leave your car anywhere, there is a nice roof terrace with a nice view only if you want to use the pool there you pay 45 or 75 euros and you get drinks and a snack, but I just want to be able to lie on a bed, without paying a large amount for that. It was half board, but the dinner was a tasteless buffer and exactly at the indicated time the lights went out and well before the end baking trays were already cleaned. I'd choose another hotel. The shower was good but there was a sock on the ceiling, was not very fresh anymore.
