Ondina

My boyfriend n I stayed in The Ondina in 1980 for 10 nts on an Intasun holiday which rivalled Club 18-30. . First thing we did was clean the room. Never ate anything but some guests loved the food. Pool wasn’t in use. Still holiday only cost £110

I lived in the hotel in 1978 as a rep for Intasun...was definitely an 18-30 type hotel. Never forgotten Wendy :-) It was so noisy and very basic, but at that time was perfect for young people. Sounds like nothing much has changed.

I spend one night in single room and absolutely get more than I expect! During last 3 years I stayed at 5 different hotels in the same location and I must say that Ondina is nice 2-stars hotel. The room is basic (no tv, no hair-dryer, no shower-gels) but cozy&comfy. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. In welcome-hall is free WiFi (password get on reception). Bus stop to the capital of Mallorca and to the airport is too close (only 20 meters). Near by the hotel is supermarket (Eroski) and beach promenade. Moreover, whole space of the hotel smells nice (laundry gel, I think). If you need stay at Arenal for couple of nights, don´t worry and book Ondina, if you are looking where to stay for family holiday, rather pay more in another 3stars hotel. Tip: in case of cash need, office of the Western Union is only 3 blocks from the hotel.
