Another all-around successful stay - regular guests for years! The hotel is beautifully situated, the grounds are very well-maintained, and the food is varied and appropriate for the star rating. The entire staff is warm, attentive, and ensures that you feel welcome from the very first moment. Our children now look forward to seeing Juan Humberto and Sandra almost more than Woogie, the hotel mascot. The two of them have become the smile and a part of the face of this hotel for us. The reunion and the farewell with the children speak volumes about the warmth. The Playa Garden is a true paradise, especially for families. The hotel's own children's entertainment at the Playa Garden is simply fantastic—with a lot of heart, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm. Our children had huge fun every day, could hardly be pulled away from the activities, and collected memories. The direct location on the dreamlike sandy beach makes the overall package perfect. The hotel absolutely deserves to be one of the best-rated properties in the region. A small point of criticism concerns the evening children's disco: As long as the hotel's own entertainment team runs the program, the atmosphere is excellent. However, as soon as the TUI entertainment team takes over on certain evenings, the difference is clearly noticeable. Unfortunately, the performances by TUI seem rather stiff and not very engaging. Especially in comparison to the great atmosphere that the hotel's children's entertainment team creates during the day and during their evening programs, some of that special vibe is lost with TUI entertainment. A bit more energy, spontaneity, and enthusiasm for the children would be desirable here. The only really annoying point—for which the hotel is actually only partially to blame—happens early in the morning: the legendary reserving of lounge chairs. 😄 It is fascinating to observe the precision and discipline with which some guests place their towels. One could almost say: If Germany is currently shining neither in soccer nor economically, then at least it remains the undisputed world champion in reserving lounge chairs. 😉 We will definitely be back—we enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked again for next year. Checking in feels like "coming home."

We are French and we came to spend a family vacation with our two teens.... we are encountering a real language problem, there are only German tourists, we only crossed paths with one French family who was also surprised by this.... obviously the entertainment is adapted in German since they are in the majority... There is not really any atmosphere or entertainment (no aperitif games, coffee...) we do not see any entertainers at the club... everything is offered for children and not teens.... and it is difficult to mingle with the language barrier. here we cannot speak of an international hotel sorry... There is only one person at the front desk who speaks French as well as all the very pleasant Senegalese staff who always had a little word for us in French ...phew... otherwise in terms of catering it is not pleasant, there are too many people and we cannot speak of refined cuisine as named in the hotel description... however the restaurant and bar staff as well as all the staff are very pleasant. So communication is exclusively in English. So I do not recommend it at all to French families as well as to families with teens. We rented a car for 2 days to discover the island which is very beautiful.

We stayed for 10 nights at this hotel as a family of 4 (including a 14yr old and a 16yr old). As we got off our transfer bus we were immediately greeted by a staff member, who helped take our cases inside and offered us all a drink. We thought this was a nice touch. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. We stayed in room 8001, which was at the end of block 8, on the ground floor, and had a view of the pool. Room was clean and there plenty room for all 4 of us. Sofa bed that was able to be folded away during the day was helpful. Lots of storage space for cloths. Love the fact the hotel have a circular eco ethos. That meant there is a water cooler available that we could fill the carafe from kitchenette, and pop it in fridge to have later. It counts how many plastic bottles they have prevented being used. They use a local farm for meat and try to use ingredients from within a short distance of the hotel. Food is always going to be a hit or a miss when catering for so many people but we found it to be a good selection. Especially enjoyed the seafood, including lobsters, crab and lagoustines! Animation team do a lot of the shows themselves, with just the odd one being external and, with that in mind, they were pretty good. Plenty of activities on throughout the day for all ages, including darts, water polo, a taste of mallorca, cocktail making etc. Location is excellent. It has a path directly to the beach. I hate sand but took some swim shoes and we enjoyed ocean paddles and walk along the beautiful pier a few times. Just beautiful. I did see reviews about the seaweed but in all honesty, it wasn't something the hotel can do anything about. Legally, the government aren't allowed to remove it so it is raked into mounds, dries out, then gets put back into the sea. This helps with the colour we were told. I still thought the beach was beautiful. There are a few shops across the road from the hotel and we also got a bus just across the road, which took about 20mins to take us to alcudia (approx €13 return for all 4 of us). My only criticisms of the hotel are the food and entertainment is only on a 7 day rotation so if you stay longer, you will get repeats. Maybe a 14 day rotation would be better. The biggest issue for us was that we had to set an alarm every day in order to get sunbeds. Too many people reserving them and then disappearing for hours at a time. There are signs saying not to reserve but they are ignored and not enforced. Beds being reserved as early as 6am. For this reason alone, I wouldn't return, as I don't expect to have to set an alarm on holiday.
