Protur Bonaire Aparthotel

Leaving tomorrow after 7days stay with my wife daughter and grandchildren have to say we all have really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The food we all really enjoyed whether it be in the restaurant or poolside bar. For all inclusive we thought the drinks were very good and in plenty supply and quickly served, The staff go out of their way to be polite and helpful if required . The pool is lovely will ample sunbeds which we used every day. We have stayed in several Protur hotels and give u very good value for money. Thank you until next time.

This was our first holiday with our 2 year old grandson, we usually do adults only The hotel is nicely laid out with different zones, we were allocated 3 rooms together and the rooms were great, with separate bedroom, TV in both rooms, 2 wardrobes ( fab) and modern spacious bathroom The staff here I must say were all so lovely, especially Vanessa and Miguel in the restaurant who were amazing with our little grandson . It was my husband’s 60th whilst out there and they put a cake and a bottle of bubbles in the room which was lovely Food was average and the drinks ( wine) wasn’t great but drinkable but it was good to have ice creams on tap Entertainment was aimed at small children all night, past 11pm, it would have been nice to have some acts for the adults, we saw two and they were only on an hour then back to kids songs. If you’re a family with kids who want to stay up it’s perfect though We went to the Rimini for my husbands 60th birthday but the staff there didn’t make a fuss of my husband or sing or even put a candle in the desert. Also one of the party was lactose free and although we pointed this out before we arrived, again when we booked and again the restaurant- they didn’t ask who it was, just brought out the meals, this was poor and needs improvement Overall though we had a really lovely holiday and would definitely recommend the hotel.

We (myself, husband and 6 year old daughter) have just returned from a week's stay here all inclusive and we loved it! Can't really fault anything about the hotel and would highly recommend. It is really close to the sea and just a couple of minutes more to Cala Bona itself. While we didn't eat out, there were loads of great looking restaurants within walking distance, and 2 supermarkets. Throughout the holiday we felt really relaxed and that we didn't need to worry about anything. The rooms and whole hotel were very clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, including comfy beds. There were 2 TVs which had lots of British channels, netflix (need your own login), and information about the hotel so we could check things on there if we wanted, eg. the snack bar/ drinks menus. The air con in the room was also fab and we were never too hot inside despite temperatures in the 30s outside. The food was great with plenty of choice at the buffet, loads of fresh fruits, salads, etc. We can be quite fussy but always found something we liked, and the desserts were especially great. There was a different theme every evening which kept it interesting. The live cooking was fab too, with several different things being cooked there in the evening, and generally pancakes/ fried eggs in the morning - eggs cooked to order! We also tried the Italian restaurant onsite one night (included) which was a nice change and the food was again great. Outside of mealtimes there were loads of snacks available, and 24/7 ice creams from freezers next to the bars. The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff in particular worked really hard. Our daughter loved the kids club and mini-disco and the staff interacting with the children seemed genuinely caring and fab. During the evening entertainment there was table-service for drinks and the waiters/ barmen were friendly and efficient, constantly taking drinks to all the tables and checking if we wanted any more. The pools were lovely, our daughter went in every day and loved it. The bouncy dome was fun and the pirate ship pool was great with lots of slides and also shady so we didn't need to worry as much about the heat. Overall, we had the best time and would highly recommend this hotel. We usually like to try new places every year but are seriously considering returning here next year.
